Organizers against human trafficking were working to help current victims get the help they need Sunday.

Volunteers packaged and delivered soap to more than 50 hotels throughout Columbus. On the soap is a human trafficking hotline.

Teresa Flores said that she knows firsthand how important it is for people to know help is available.

“I'm actually a survivor of human trafficking and was basically left for dead in a motel one night,” Flores said. “So that's why I do this to help find these young girls in their worst moment.”

Flores said the reason the numbers are on the soap is that she knows the only time human trafficking victims are left alone is when they are in the bathroom.
