Victim Crawls To Neighbor's Home For Help After Shooting
Police were looking for a gunman who shot a man twice in north Columbus.
The shooting happened along Loretta Avenue around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday.
The victim was shot twice in the lower body.
Police said he crawled to a neighbor's apartment to get help.
The woman who answered the door had a baby inside the apartment with her.
Police took her and the child to a relative's house because they said she was scared to stay there after the shooting.
Detectives told 10TV the suspect is a heavyset man in his mid 20s.
The victim was expected to recover. Police were questioning him at Riverside Hospital to try to gather more information.
