A central Ohio couple is hoping to get back an urn containing a dead child's ashes that was stolen during a burglary of their apartment last weekend.
The Marion Star reports that someone broke into the apartment in Marion on Sunday and took an estimated $3,000 worth of property. Among the items was a white plastic urn containing the cremains of the infant child, Layton Ryan Stover.
The apartment residents, Saundra Winkle and Dustin Stover, reported that they arrived home at about 7 p.m. Sunday to find a front window and door wide open. Police say they have no suspects yet.
Marion is about 60 miles north of Columbus.
