Two People Killed In Southeast Columbus Shooting

Columbus police say two people are dead after a double shooting on the southeast side.

Investigators say they discovered the victims inside a gold vehicle parked in front of 930 Oakwood Avenue around 10:30 p.m.

Witnesses told police they were shot while driving the vehicle.

Police say the 31-year-old Martaveious Arnold was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 28-year-old Glen Simley  was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition and later died at the hospital.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene.

Witnesses describe seeing three men run from the scene on foot, but no arrests were made.

The identities of the victims were not immediately released.
