Two People Forced From Home After Fire

The Red Cross was helping two people forced from their east Columbus home overnight after a fire.

This happened in the 600 block of South Ohio Avenue around 11:45 Wednesday night.

Firefighters said the flames started in the kitchen and appeared to be accidental.

The damage to the two-story house was estimated at $10,000.

No one was home at the time.
