Troubled Columbus Charter School To Close

A charter school that was closed earlier in February and then reopened is closing for good, according to The Columbus Dispatch.

ScholARTS Preparatory and Career Center for Children closed on Feb. 14 because it allegedly owed the state more than $740,000 in overpayments for students and for not paying employee retirement contributions, according to The Columbus Dispatch.

School officials told The Columbus Dispatch on Thursday that they were dropping their legal battle to stay open.
