Tornado Siren Damaged During Crash

One person was arrested after an early morning crash Monday near Worthington.

The crash happened around 2:45 a.m. At a curve on Godown Road, near Linworth road.

Police say the driver failed to navigate the curve and wrapped the car around a pole that holds a tornado siren.

The driver of the car was able to get out himself, but the passenger had to be cut out of the car by firefighters.

Police say the passenger was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital with a broken jaw.

Police say the driver of the car was arrested and charged with OVI, among other charges.
