Tornado Damages Ohio High School

The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-0 tornado touched down near Lynchburg, in Highland County, Wednesday.

The storm caused damage to the roof of Lynchburg-Clay High School.

Zach Blankenship, a student at the school, snapped photos of the sagging ceiling as he sought shelter inside the building.

He said he also saw light poles and tree limbs snapped and damage to cars in the parking lot.

Blankenship said there were about 20 children and basketball camp instructors in the building when the twister blew through.

All of them escaped injury.
