An early morning crime spree on Tuesday left victims shaken and afraid.

That is, until police surround a neighborhood, cornered the getaway car, and took down three suspects.

The crime spree came to an abrupt end at condominium complex on Morsetowne Court.  Columbus police raced there after a report of a burglary.

While on scene, officers spotted the suspects' gold minivan and surrounded the complex, joining forces with Columbus SWAT officers to launch an all-out manhunt.

Three suspects - two men and a woman - were taken into custody.  They’re accused of targeting at least four victims, including a woman named Aretta.  10TV has declined to provide her last name out of safety.

“I'm trying to stay calm, but I'm pretty shaken up,” Aretta says.

Crews got to work replacing her back door that was kicked in by the crooks.   Aretta says the thieves dropped her designer purses, but made off with gold jewelry, electronics - and worse - her sense of security.

"I don't think it will ever be the same.  They took something away from me.”

Police brought victims to the scene to try to identify the suspects, including a man who says he was pistol whipped in a parking lot.  They also spoke with a woman who police say had a gun flashed at her before the robbers stole her car.

One of the victims tells 10TV she can't imagine how afraid she would feel if the suspects were still on the loose.  “I will double check doors and windows and I don't want to think about it tonight.”
