Horses and their riders are showing off their talents at the All American Quarter Horse Congress that begins on Friday.

The month-long horse show runs through Oct. 28 at the Ohio State Fairgrounds.

Organizers said that the competition attracts people from around the world and grows each year.

"We're not just a horse show, we're an event," said Scott Myers of the Ohio Quarter Horse Association. "There's more trucks and trailers displayed here, more merchandise displayed here than any other event like this in the country."

Myers said that stabling is limited at the fairgrounds, but organizers try to accommodate everyone who wants to come.

More than 650,000 people are expected to visit the show this year.
