Snow will gradually taper off from north to south through early this afternoon with falling temperatures into the single digits by late in the day. However blowing and drifting snow will linger into tonight. Gusty winds will also create wind chill readings as cold as -10 to -15 late tonight into early Wednesday. Quiet weather will start the day Wednesday with another chance for snow showers developing Wednesday evening into Thursday morning. Snowfall amounts around another 1" will be possible Wednesday night followed by another shot of arctic air. The cold weather will moderate some by the weekend before another, more frigid blast of arctic air arrives early next week.
