A teenager has admitted guilt in the fatal stabbing of a woman in Blendon Township.

Jordan Stewart, 16, was charged with murder in the brutal stabbing death of Jane Juergens.

Juergens was stabbed 26 times on a trail in Ridgewood Park.

Stewart lived in a nearby group home at the time. A staff member told police he took two boys to the park on that day in October 2013.

Stewart took off from the employee. The employee said 20 minutes later, Stewart ran out of the woods and his face was scratched and bruised. He claimed he tripped and fell.

As part of the plea deal, Stewart will plead guilty in adult court for murder and tampering of evidence.

He will be sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for at least 18 years.
