Teen Accused Of Holding Up A Columbus Gas Station At Gunpoint

A juvenile is facing charges, accused of holding up a southwest Columbus gas station at gunpoint.

Columbus police say it happened at the Thorton's at 1771 Norton Road just before 4:00 a.m. Monday morning.

Authorities told 10TV the teen was accused of holding a gun to the clerk's head.

Police say the entire incident was captured on camera.  The suspect was caught a short while later because his footprints in the snow led police straight to the suspect.

The suspect is now in custody, being charged with robbery and related charges.
