The Central Ohio High School Sports Awards presented by Encova Insurance is an annual high school athlete recognition program honoring the area's top-performing athletes, coaches, and teams.

Below are the sports and awards that are part of the Central Ohio High School Sports Awards. Nominees are selected through statistical analysis, game coverage and Coach/Athletic Director feedback.

Sports included: Baseball, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Boys Bowling, Girls Bowling, Boys Cross Country, Girls Cross Country, Field Hockey, Football, Boys Golf, Girls Golf, Gymnastics, Hockey, Boys Lacrosse, Girls Lacrosse, Girls Lacrosse, Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, Softball, Boys Swimming and Diving, Girls Swimming and Diving, Boys Tennis, Girls Tennis, Boys Track and Field, Girls Track and Field, Boys Volleyball, Girls Volleyball, Boys Water Polo, Girls Water Polo, Boys Wrestling, Girls Wrestling.

Awards presented are: Boys Athlete of the Year, Girls Athlete of the Year, Boys Team of the Year, Girls Team of the Year, Coach of the Year, Courage Award, Community Engagement Award.

The nine-month program culminates with an in-person awards show, including an appearance from a special guest. This year's Central Ohio High School Sports Awards special guest will be none other than Central Ohio native, Dublin Coffman High School & University of Notre Dame alum and former NFL player, Brady Quinn. Quinn will be providing an inspirational talk with a question and answer session.
