It is jacket weather this morning with temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Skies were mostly clear overnight so that always helps to cool temperatures in the early morning. It will be a great day for outdoor plans with sunshine and afternoon highs in the lower 80s. Clouds will increase tonight ahead of a storm system that will bring the chance for scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms early Sunday morning. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with scattered rain and thunderstorms. Some storms late Sunday afternoon and evening could be severe. We’ll watch for flooding Sunday night into Monday because there is a chance for some very heavy rain with these storms. Rain will finally move out by Monday night.
Inconvenient Weather: Scattered rain and thunderstorms early Sunday, then late Sunday afternoon into evening rain and thunderstorms could be strong to severe with heavy rain possible into Monday morning.
Planning Your Day: Beautiful sunshine for most of the day, temperatures are very cool this morning, but highs this afternoon will be close to normal in the lower 80s. Scattered rain and an isolated storm are possible overnight into Sunday.
