A dry and warm day ahead with highs slightly above average for this time of year. As high pressure moves to the east heading into the weekend, more moisture will start to filter into the state, bringing a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms. Neither day looks like a washout though, with mainly late day showers and storms. The warm-up continues into the early part of next week. So does the chance for scattered thunderstorms.

Inconvenient WX/Plan Your Day: Dry and warm today with a few scattered showers and storms over the weekend. Better chance for more widespread showers and storms early next week and unseasonably warm again.
