Road conditions are poor this morning--especially south of Columbus--thanks to the snow we had last night. Some areas in Fayette and Ross counties picked up more than 4 inches of snow. The snow will continue to push east and we’ll be left with gradually clearing skies through the morning into the afternoon. Highs will top out in the low 20s.
Another shot at snow heads our way tonight. We won’t see as much snow as we did with this last system. In most cases, accumulation will stay less than an inch tonight into Sunday. Sunday will bring a chance for scattered light snow showers and highs near 30. We’ll see a mix of rain and snow on Monday followed by temperatures climbing into the 40s and 50s throughout the week.
Alerts: Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings in effect until 7:00 a.m. for areas south of Columbus.
Inconvenient Weather: Expect slick and snowpacked conditions on the roads this morning, especially on untreated roadways.
Planning Your Day: We’ll see a mix of clouds and sun today with highs in the low 20s. A chance for light snow heads our way tonight.
