Children dropped off in the afternoon at a Mount Vernon elementary school were allegedly threatened with a knife by another student.

A police report indicates that it happened Tuesday at Dan Emmett Elementary School.

According to the report, one student said that there was teasing involved with a group of middle school students when another student pulled out a knife and said, "Do you think it's funny, now?"

The child allegedly showed the folding knife to other students.
