Numerous showers and thunderstorms will move through the state through early this evening. In southern Ohio, a few thunderstorms could be strong to severe with damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes. Also, locally heavy rain could lead to some flash flooding. Storms should exit the state late this evening with clearing skies from northwest to southeast. Temperatures will drop off into the 50s overnight as a cold front sweeps through the state. Sunshine is back in the forecast for the rest of the week and start of the weekend. High temperatures will hold in the middle to upper 70s Thursday and Friday with low 80s to start the weekend. The next threat for showers and storms is expected on Sunday.
