A dozen Steubenville students delivered a petition to Attorney General Mike DeWine calling for justice in a rape case that’s received national attention.

The group delivered the 70,000 signatures to DeWine Thursday morning.

"We will deliver these petitions to the Attorney General to demand justice for the young woman in Steubenville," said Diana Sencherey, Choice USA chapter leader at Ohio State University. "To see one person so disrespected hurts the victim and damages the whole community, and Ohio deserves better than that."

The case has gained international attention through the work of bloggers and hacker-activists who allege other football players should be charged over the August incident.
