Speedway Clerk Refuses To Give Up Money During Robbery Attempt


Police are looking for a person who tried to rob a Speedway station early Monday morning.

The suspect entered the store at 1165 South High St. around 3 a.m.

The attempted robber held up his arm and pointed it at the clerk. The man implied he had a gun, although his sleeve covered his hand.

The clerk refused to give the man any cash, and he left.

Authorities said the man was white and in his 20s. He is around 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds. He has light brown scruffy facial hair.
