Speed Limits To Increase On Some Central Ohio Roadways
Some rural roads in central Ohio will see a boost in the speed limits.
According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the department is increasing the speed limits on 607 miles of roadway as the
result of new legislation passed by the Ohio General Assembly earlier this year.

Some of the roads getting new speed limits include:
• S.R. 161, between New Albany and Newark, will increase to 70
• S.R. 16 between Hanover and S.R. 60 will increase to 70
• U.S. 33 from south of Pickerington around Lancaster will increase to 70
• U.S. 33 from S.R. 347 to Dublin, going through Marysville, also will increase to 70
