Special Information:

   Clouds will increase tonight ahead of a winter storm. There is a chance for some light snow late tonight, however any accumulation tonight will be light. A mixture of light rain, sleet and snow will possible Tuesday morning and continue into the afternoon. Much of central and southern Ohio will see mostly rain during the afternoon. The precipitation will become heavier late in the day and change back to all snow by evening. The snow may be heavy at times especially north of I-70 where snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches will be possible by midday Wednesday. A few spots could have locally higher amounts mainly northwest of I-71. Around 3 to 6 inches of snow will be likely right along I-70. South of I-70, a mix of sleet and rain will cut back on snowfall totals with generally 1 to 3 inches expected here through Wednesday afternoon.  The precipitation will end by Wednesday afternoon with clearing skies and moderating temperatures Thursday.


Alerts :  A WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect from 11am Tuesday through Wednesday afternoon for most parts of central Ohio North of I-70.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect for east-central Ohio and parts of southern Ohio.


Inconvenient  Weather:  Snow showers will develop Tuesday morning and mix with rain during the afternoon. Rain will change back to snow Tuesday evening and become heavy at times through early Wednesday. Snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches will be possible north/west of I-71 with less amounts south. The rain and snow will come to an end Wednesday afternoon.
