Special Information:
Clouds will be on the increase on the Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a chance for flurries developing this morning with a few snow showers by late afternoon. Another fast moving Alberta Clipper will bring the chance for more widespread snow showers to central Ohio tonight. Snowfall accumulations of around 1 inch will be possible overnight with higher amounts possible across southern Ohio. The snow will taper off Tuesday morning with mostly cloudy skies and much colder air filtering in during the afternoon. High temperatures on Tuesday will only reach into the teens with wind chill readings near or below zero. The frigid weather will stick around through the rest of the week with actual temperatures dropping to near or below zero by Wednesday morning. There will be on and off chances of snow showers Wednesday and Thursday.

Inconvenient Weather: Flurries will develop late this afternoon with a chance for snow showers tonight. Some light snow accumulation will be possible overnight with amounts around 1” near I-70. Snowfall amounts of 1-3 inches will be possible south of I-70, mainly across southeastern Ohio. This could make the commute Tuesday morning quite slow.
Planning Your Day:  Clouds will increase today with a chance for flurries by late this afternoon. Snow showers will develop tonight as an arctic cold front moves into central Ohio. Temperatures will fall rapidly into the teens overnight. Some slick travel is possible late tonight into early Tuesday.
