Snow Accumulation Expected Friday
Your Doppler 10 Forecast
This Evening: Clear to partly cloudy.
Tonight: Clear early with increasing clouds late. Low 15.
Tomorrow: Snow likely. 1-3 inches accumulation by evening. High 26.
Saturday: Partly to mostly cloudy. Few flurries. High 27.
UPDATE—Light snow moves back into Central Ohio after 10AM tomorrow and will last for much of the daylight hours. This next system is stronger than last nights, but by no means is a major winter storm. Latest computer models continue to indicate a general 1-3 inch snowfall accumulation by Friday evening. I’m monitoring for a possible WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY.
I’m also closely tracking an approaching storm for early next week. Freezing rain may develop late Sunday night into early Monday. The amount of ice will depend on how long it takes to warm the surface above freezing.
Alerts : None
Inconvenient Weather: Snow beginning after 10AM with a general 1-3 inches accumulation. Given the high ratio… someone could see 4 inches.
Planning your Day: Light to moderate snow tomorrow… freezing rain Sunday night into Monday morning…. Rain and warmer early next week.
