Special Information: Warmer and increasingly more humid air is returning into central Ohio this evening. A few pop up thunderstorms developing in the late afternoon to our west may move into central Ohio this evening before tapering off overnight. The heat and humidity will continue into Monday with pop up thunderstorms possible during the afternoon. While the overall threat for severe weather is low, there will be at least a low risk for a few stronger storms with gusty winds and brief heavy rain. A cold front will move into the Ohio Valley on Tuesday bringing with it more widespread showers and thunderstorms by Tuesday afternoon. Showers may linger into Wednesday before clearing Wednesday afternoon. Cooler, less humid air will arrive Wednesday and Thursday. The heat will return again by the end of the week along with a slight chance for a thunderstorm on Friday.



Inconvenient Weather: The heat and humidity will return across the state over the next two days. A few pop up storms are possible tonight into Monday and a few of these storms could produce brief heavy rain and gusty winds. More widespread showers and thunderstorms will be likely on Tuesday. A few storms Tuesday could be strong or severe.
