The area of high pressure that kept us dry yesterday will shift to the southeast today, allowing increasing heat and humidity as winds come out of the southwest. Look for highs near 90 degrees Sunday with a mix of clouds and sun. We’ll see just a slight chance for an isolated shower late today with a better chance for scattered showers and storms Monday and Tuesday. Highs will top out in the low 90s to start the work week. Our weather pattern will remain unsettled Wednesday through Saturday with a chance for scattered showers and storms just about each day. We definitely need the rain. Columbus is running about 2 inches below normal for the month in terms of rainfall and about 4 inches below normal since the first of June.
Inconvenient Weather: Slight chance for an isolated shower in the afternoon.
Planning Your Day: Partly cloudy and turning hot with highs near 90. Most of the day will be dry, but there is a slight chance for an isolated shower this afternoon.
