Most outdoor plans should be fine this Labor Day. We begin with cloudy skies and a few showers in our southern counties. This afternoon we will see a little more sun with highs in the middle 80s. A storm system moving in from the West will bring rain and thunderstorms overnight into Tuesday. Some storms could have gusty winds and heavy downpours. Showers will begin to move away Tuesday night. Temperatures will go on a roller coaster ride this week.  They'll heat up for the rest of the work week with highs near 90 Thursday and Friday before dropping into the middle 70s for the second part of the weekend.

Alerts:  Slight risk of severe weather late tonight/overnight for NW Ohio and parts of Central Ohio. Primary threats: gusty winds and heavy rain.

Inconvenient Weather: Showers and thunderstorms move in overnight into Tuesday. Some of them could be severe northwest of the 1-71 corridor. Primary threats: gusty winds and heavy rain.

Planning Your Day:  Cloudy and mild start, but more sun will show this afternoon with highs in the middle 80s. Only a slight chance for showers this afternoon but rain and thunderstorms become likely overnight into Tuesday.
