After a dry start to the weekend, showers and thunderstorms will push into central Ohio this evening with on and off storms expected to linger through Sunday. While the threat for severe weather is low, a few storms could produce locally heavy rainfall. Outside of any rain, skies will be partly to mostly cloudy with warm and muggy conditions. Temperatures tonight will only drop to around 70 degrees by daybreak Sunday. Clouds and the threat for rain should hold temperatures into the lower 80s Sunday.
A break from the rain is expected on Labor Day as a warm front lifts north of central Ohio. Skies will be partly cloudy although a pop up shower could return by evening. Temperatures on Labor Day will rebound back into the middle 80s. The front will return back into central Ohio on Tuesday once again bringing more showers and thunderstorms. The front will move south of the state allowing for slightly cooler, less humid air to arrive for midweek.
