Shooting Victim Brought To Fire Station, Suspect Charged With Murder

Police have arrested a man accused of shooting and killing another man in northwest Columbus.

The shooting happened around 4:45 p.m. Saturday along Sawbury Boulevard.

Police have charged 23-year-old Ishmael Humphrey with the murder of 23-year-old Isaac Keels.

After Keels was shot, someone drove him to Columbus Fire Station 27 on Smoky Row Road. The station is about one mile from where the shooting happened.

Keels was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators were working to determine a motive.
