Columbus police detectives are looking for clues in the murder of a restaurant manager.

Robert Daley, 52, was found dead inside of his apartment Saturday.

The KFC manager had a single gunshot wound to his head. Neighbors said they did not hear anything suspicious and were surprised to learn he would be a victim of a crime.

"Would never imagine anything like that because he was always, so friendly, so I wouldn't think anything else of anything," said Linda Bennett.

Police said the victim was discovered by his wife and children who came down from Mansfield after not hearing from him for several days. Detectives believe the motive was burglary.
