Search For Armed Suspect After Two Women Held At Gunpoint

Columbus police are investigating a report of two women held at gunpoint around 3 a.m. Thursday morning.

Police dispatchers say one of the women called police from South James Road near a Rally’s restaurant on the east side of Columbus.

They told officers they were held at gunpoint by someone they knew.

Neither woman was hurt.  

They are being questioned by officers at police headquarters downtown.

Other officers are searching for the suspect, who may be armed.
