Center of Hurricane Sandy is about 3 to 4 hours away from hitting the New Jersey shore. We will feel the impact later tonight as winds increase to 30 to 40 mph with gusts as high as 60 mph. These winds could down trees and power lines as we go through the night into tomorrow morning. In addition, the storm will bring a slushy mix of rain and snow with up to an inch accumulation expected in the city.
