A Reynoldsburg man was indicted by Fairfield County grand jury Friday for allegedly murdering his on-again, off-again girlfriend.

The Lancaster Eagle Gazette reports Scott Farringer, 35, was indicted on three counts of murder that all carry 15 years to life sentences.

Farringer was arrested on Oct. 10, a day after Denise Haught, mother of 5, was found dead in her home on Shell Beach Road.

The Gazette says two of her children, 2 and 4, were in the home when Haught’s body was found. They are with family members.

Haught's father says there have been reports of abuse in the past.

Farringer is held on a $1 million bond.
