Reward Offered For Information In Gahanna Home Invasion

Crime Stoppers and police are looking for information about a January 9 home invasion.

The crime occurred around 4:20 a.m. at in the 1400 block of Harrison Pond Drive.

A female and male in the home were attacked and robbed.

The victims reported four masked people, three men and a woman, broke into the home by throwing a large rock through a glass door. One of the suspects had a handgun. The male victim had to have surgery due to head injuries sustained in the home invasion.

The victims said that the female suspect called one of the males "Bobby baby."

The suspects left the scene in the victim's vehicle which was later found on Heatherbridge Lane. A witness at that location reported three black males ran from the area where the vehicle was parked. They got into a vehicle with a waiting female, according to the report. That car was described as a red Nissan Altima.

A $2,000 reward is being offered for information received by April 3, 2013, leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 614-645-TIPS (8477).
