Reward Offered For Info On Bank Robberies Near Ohio State University

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information about two suspects in separate bank robberies that occurred near the Ohio State University campus.

The first crime occurred around 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept 14 at the Huntington Bank at 235 West 11th Avenue. The suspect is described a male, black, mid-to-late 30’s, 6’, 180 pounds, wearing a black/white plaid long sleeve button down shirt. He carried a black Nike drawstring bag with the word "Nike" and the swoosh logo in white. He also showed a long, single edge knife, similar to a kitchen knife.

The second robbery occurred around 9:30 a.m. Thursday Sept. 26. The suspect is described as male, black, mid-to-late 30’s, 6’, 180 pounds. He wore tan pants, a black Adidas zip-up jacket with three white stripes down the sleeves. The suspect also showed a semi-automatic handgun.
