Police in northern Ohio think they've found the remains of a toddler missing since June.
Investigators on Friday said a box removed from the rafters of a garage in Toledo contain the human remains of a young person.
Toledo Police Chief Derrick Diggs says the box was found Thursday next to the house where 19-month-old Elaina Steinfurth was last seen three months ago.
He says the property belongs to the boyfriend of the little girl's mother.
Both the mother and her boyfriend are in jail after being accused of obstructing justice during the investigation. No other charges have been filed.
An autopsy was under way Friday.
Investigators say it may take days or weeks to determine whether the remains are that of the girl.
