Rebels: Black boxes found, bodies moved to refrigerated train cars
U.S. and European leaders are demanding that Russian President Vladimir Putin make sure pro-Russian rebels in Ukraine give international investigators full access to the wreckage of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17.
A separatist leader says rebels have recovered the black boxes for the downed Malaysia Airlines Flight 17. He said the devices would be handed over to the International Civil Aviation Organization.
He also said the bodies recovered from the crash site in eastern Ukraine would remain in refrigerated containers at a train station in the town of Torez until the arrival of an international aviation delegation.
Ukrainian government officials had prepared a disaster crisis center in hopes of receiving the bodies.
The plane was shot down Thursday over disputed territory, killing 298 passengers and crew.
