Special Information:

    A mix of rain and snow will spread northward into central Ohio by late this evening. Snowfall accumulations of up to a ½” will be possible through midnight, mainly on grassy areas. Temperatures will slowly rise overnight and any snow will change to rain before daybreak Monday. This will also likely melt any snow that does accumulate tonight. Overnight lows will drop into the low to mid 30s around midnight but rise into the lower 40s by morning.

    Rain will be likely on Monday with a few thunderstorms also possible, especially in southern Ohio. Rainfall amounts of around ½” to 1” are possible by Monday night. High temperatures Monday will soar into the lower 50s by late afternoon. Colder air will return Monday night as a cold front crosses the state. Temperatures will drop back into the lower 30s by Tuesday morning allowing for any remaining rain showers to change back to some light snow or flurries before ending by midday Tuesday. Spring will officially arrive on Wednesday under mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid 30’s. A few flurries will also be possible.

Inconvenient Weather:  A mixture of rain, sleet and snow will move into central Ohio this evening. Snow accumulations will remain light and generally under ½”. Any snow will quickly change to all rain after 2 am as temperatures rise overnight. Rain will be likely on Monday and could be locally heavy, especially south of I-70. The rain will end as some flurries or snow showers early Tuesday.
