Your Doppler 10 Forecast
This Morning: Mostly cloudy with snow developing northwest of Columbus and a wintry mix possible for the Columbus metro area.
This Afternoon: A wintry mix to rain for Columbus and areas southeast. Snow showers north and west of Columbus. High 41.
Tonight: Rain changing to snow. Turning windy and bitter cold with blowing and drifting snow. Low 8

Our next winter storm is working into the state and will bring a mix of rain, sleet and snow today to the Columbus metro area before changing to all rain in the afternoon and back to all snow overnight. The late transition to snow will likely keep snowfall totals across Columbus between 1-3 inches. If an earlier changeover to snow occurs, snowfall totals will be higher. Areas southeast of I-71 have a good chance to see precipitation staying in the form of rain and limiting snowfall totals to below an inch. Areas northwest of Columbus will likely see nothing but snow and, as a result, the possibility of snowfall totals as high as 6 inches or greater. Much colder air will settle into central Ohio Monday and Tuesday along with windy conditions. Blowing and drifting snow will likely be a problem. Highs will be in the single digits early Monday morning, falling throughout the day and ending up below zero by the afternoon. Wind chill readings will be as low as -20 to -40 during the day and as low as -50 Monday night into Tuesday morning. Another storm system could bring more accumulating snow Wednesday night into Thursday.
Alerts: Winter Storm Warning and Winter Weather Advisory for portions of central Ohio through Monday morning and Wind Chill Warning from early Monday morning through Tuesday evening
Inconvenient Weather: Snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain today across central Ohio
Planning Your Day: We’ll see a wintry mix changing to rain for Columbus and snow for areas northwest of the I-71 corridor. Expect windy and frigid tonight.
