After a fantastic start to the weekend, clouds will increase tonight ahead of the next storm system which will arrive on Easter Sunday. It will not be as cold tonight with overnight lows holding to around 40 degrees. Showers are expected to develop toward daybreak and continue through the first half of the day. Rain should taper off by afternoon. Despite the rain showers, temperatures will remain near seasonable averages with highs reaching into the upper 50s.
A cold front will cross the state Sunday night into early Monday. A few snow showers will be possible as the front crosses Monday, however little if any snow accumulation is expected. Any leftover snow showers should mix with or change to rain showers before ending Monday afternoon. Temperatures will remain unseasonably cool Tuesday and Wednesday before warming back to near or above normal toward the end of next week.
