A warm front has moved north of central Ohio this afternoon allowing for warmer, more humid air to push into the area. A weak disturbance moving along the front may spark a few thunderstorms this evening. Any storms that to pop up could produce some brief heavy rainfall. Most of the showers and storms will come to an end by late tonight.
Another warm and muggy day is expected on Monday as temperatures climb into the middle 80s by afternoon. Again there will be the chance for a pop up, late day storm. The best chances for storms will be across northern Ohio closer to a frontal boundary. By late Tuesday, a cold front will be moving into the state which will increase the threat for showers and storms Tuesday night into Wednesday. A storm system moving along the cold front will keep wet weather in the forecast through Thursday morning. Once the front finally moves off to the east, unseasonably cool weather will push into central Ohio for Thursday and stick around into the weekend. There will even be the chance for some scattered frost by Saturday morning.
Alerts : None.
