A new poll indicates that Ohioans are divided on making marijuana legal.

According to the Quinnipiac University poll, Ohio voters are split 47 to 47 percent on making pot legal.

National numbers released last week showed that across the U.S. 51 percent of Americans favored legalized pot.

It seems men support legalized marijuana more than women in the state.

Men said they supported legalized marijuana by a 49 to 46 percent margin, while women opposed it 48 to 45 percent.

Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,165 registered voters with a margin of error of +/- 2.9 percentage points.
