Police Searching For Suspect In Certified Gas Station Robbery

Police are searching for a man who robbed the Certified gas station on south High Street Friday night in south Columbus.

The store clerk says the suspect approached the counter and demanded money.

When she refused, the suspect told her he had an accomplice waiting outside with a gun.

When the clerk threatened to call police, the suspect grabbed several packs of cigarettes and left the gas station.

The suspect was last seen running northbound along South High Street.

The man was wearing sunglasses, a black toboggan, a dark sweatshirt, jeans and gloves.

He is described as being about 35 to 45 years old, about 5'5" tall, and about 130lbs.
