Police say a robbery suspect remained on the run Saturday after robbing a Northwest Columbus bank.

The man entered the Cooper State Bank in the 1600 block of West Fifth Avenue just after noon, according to Columbus Police.

Officers said the robber forced a bank teller to put money in a backpack he was carrying.

Police said the man was wearing a faded red hoodie, a dust mask, tan and black gloves, and dark pants with stripes on the legs.

He was last seen running east in the alley south of the bank.

This is the third bank robbery in the city so far this year.
