Police Search For 3 Alleged Marion Robbers Considered Armed, Dangerous

Police are searching for three men possibly connected to an armed robbery in Marion on Thursday morning.

According to police, three men allegedly robbed a resident at gunpoint.

Police said that one person fled the robbery scene in a stolen red Ford Expedition and prompted a police chase. Two others fled on foot.

The vehicle chase lasted for about 12 blocks and reached speeds of up to 70 miles per hour.

“We searched for him for about a half an hour in that area, and we locked down a perimeter but did not locate him, but we did collect some evidence,” said officer Andrew Isom of the Marion Police Department. 

Police said that all three men were on the loose as of Thursday afternoon and were considered armed and dangerous.

The identities and good descriptions of the men were not immediately released.
