Police Release 'Person Of Interest' Image From Shooting

Columbus police are looking for a man in connection with a shooting outside of a Marathon gas station.

Around 2:20 a.m. on Aug. 24, an unknown male with a gun robbed a person outside of the Marathon at 4755 Refugee Road.

After taking the person's property, the suspect struck the victim with the pistol and fired a shot into his leg.

The victim was treated at Grant Medical Center for the wound.

On Friday, police said they were looking for a person of interest in the case. He's described as being between 18-22 years of age and around 5 feet 5 inches tall. He has a thin build, with short hair and gold teeth.
