Pickerington police reports say that no one in the pool area saw a 2-year-old enter a hot tub before he drowned.

Traetin J. Reyes was found unresponsive in the hot tub Monday night at the Brookview Condominium.

First responders and nurse attempted to perform CPR on the child. He was later pronounced dead after being transported to Nationwide Children's Hospital.

According to police reports, there were several people in the pool area at the time of the incident, but no one saw Reyes enter the hot tub.

The police reported that a sign reading "Danger Spa Closed" was lying on the ground in front of the hot tub.

The family was at the location because they had rented out the clubhouse for a wake following the funeral of Reyes' grandmother.
