Police looking for man accused of robbing bank in downtown Columbus

Police are trying to identify a man accused of robbing a bank in downtown Columbus.

It happened on July 7th at the PNC Bank at 155 East Broad Street.

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers says the man used an ATM in the lobby -- or pretended to do so -- before entering the bank and presenting a teller with a note demanding money.

After the teller complied, authorities say the man ran from the building and headed south on 4th Street.

According to authorities, the man is described as between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10, between 50 to 60 years old with a slightly gray goatee.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the person responsible for this crime.
