Police Investigating Triple Shooting In East Columbus

Police were searching for a gunman after three people were shot in east Columbus.

Officers rushed to East Main Street and Oakwood Avenue around midnight on Monday. 

They found three victims in three different locations suffering from gunshot wounds. 

Two of those victims were taken to Grant Medical Center, and one was taken to Mount Carmel West Hospital. 

A police sergeant on the scene told 10TV News that investigators believed there might have been a shootout between two of the people who were wounded.

Police said a stray bullet hit a home on McAllister Avenue.
